Go Kart Seat Belt Fail
Posted by Peter in Fail, Motor Racing, Sport, Virals on March 30th, 2011
Forget about the rather inevitable Go Kart Seat Belt Fail @0:32, we think this is rather more a parenting fail:
1) Buying the kids such a ludricous toy
2) Not strapping them in
3) Videoing the inevitable mayhem
4) Standing idly by videoing rather that running to check on the little ‘un.
Shameless stuff really…. still buys you your fiftneen minutes of YouTube fame I guess.

The Royal Wedding (1923)
What with all the brouhaha about William and Kate’s nuptials on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey, it’s worth casting a gaze back to when these affairs were carried out in true style.
Thanks to wonderful BFI archive here’s the ‘wedding of King George VI and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, Queen Elizabeth II’s future parents, as incarnated by Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter in The King’s Speech’, multi-winner at this year’s Oscars.

Danny Boy: Johnny Cash and Jimmie Rodgers
Posted by Peter in Johnny Cash, Music, Virals on March 16th, 2011
Here’s another of our videos celebrating St Patrick’s Day on 17 March.
Roll up Johnny Cash and Jimmie Rodgers to duet on perhaps the most powerful of all classic Irish songs; Danny Boy.
Go on, shed a tear, you’d not be human if you didn’t.

It’s Whiskey: Run-DMC v The Dubliners and The Pogues
Another one to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on the 17th March, here we have a mighty mashup featuring Run-DMC v The Dubliners and The Pogues, titled It’s Whiskey!
This is of course a mashup of It’s Tricky and Whiskey In The Jar. But did you know that Pogues frontman Shame MacGowan used to sing this live as Whiskey In The Giro? A giro being that nice little cheque he’d pick up from the job centre in his pre-fame dark days.

St Patrick’s Day Man Hug
Viral Ad for Guinness
We Say:
A St Patrick’s day lesson for our Irish cousins in the macho minefield that is the man-hug.
They Say:
The British male is traditionally uneasy and reserved when befriending other males. Guinness aims to solve this problem with a series of lessons educating men on how to prepare for the 17th March and St Patrick’s Day – the friendliest day of the year.
Pac Man (Rémi GAILLARD)
Here’s another blast from the past from our happy Frenchman Rémi Gaillard.

Kangaroo (Rémi Gaillard)
We had a great response to Rémi Gaillard’s live version of Mario Kart Is Back recently so here’s a look back to one of his previous classics; Kangaroo.
There’s a running theme in these vids of Gaillard spooking golfers and his Kangaroo is no exception. Please tell me there are some golfers out there with a least a modicumb of a sense of humour…
