Despite being a mid-summer month, June is traditionally a wet affair. Think Wimbledon and Glastonbury and you’ll be picturing brollies and wellies galore.

This year the Met Office weather boffins have festival goers in a quandary. It will, they say, either be totally dry or very wet. And yes, you’re right the whole shebang starts today so we’re not asking too much of them to be a little more forthright than that are we.

So for now at least, if you’re heading out west to Glastonbury to see the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Lily Allen, best of luck and remember to take shades and macks…
