When in Doubt, Nap Like a Cat
Viral Ad from Whiskas
We Say:
Napping like a cat is a pretty attractive concept, particularly when you’re posting a video at the end of a long day.
It’s not only our feline friends who manage to knock up 16-20 hours of sleep a day though. My three month old baby manages at least that amount of zzz’s while having perfected the art of simultaneously minimising his long-suffering parents’ sleep pattern.
Meowww…

Looter Walks Into Lamppost
Primary school worker Alexis Smith takes the walk of shame having just pleaded guilty to burglary during the London riots at Highbury Magistrates Court.
His case has been referred to the Crown Court so that he can receive a longer sentence. But have no fear he was set for violent street justice of his own-making just yards from the court as, paper covering his head, he walks face-first into a lamppost (@47 secs).
Have patience… this one’s a classic!

The Surrey Robocop
Regular readers will have already heard of The Peckham Terminator – the shape-shifting-fould-mouthed-bus-passenger from south east London. Well it seems another Hollywood action hero has been discovered south of the river, this time in the form of ‘The Future Of Law Enforcement’.
PC Dan Pascoe parks up his police car to form a roadblock on a slip road off the M25 near Chertsey. No sooner has he got out of his car than he and his car are hit by a stolen BMW.
Plucky Pascoe is seen to get up, dust himself off and chase after the BMW and errant driver. When the BMW crashes, Pascoe leaps after the fleeing offender dealing him some ‘off-camera’ street justice.
Surrey Police said: “PC Pascoe was able to deploy his taser on the driver before collapsing and other officers at the scene then arrested him on suspicion of vehicle theft and other driving offences.”
“The 29 year old man pleaded guilty to all charges during an initial hearing at North Surrey Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 5 July and was sentenced to 23 months in prison at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, 29 July.”
The video of the incident is set to be a viral sensation, with fans dubbing PC Pascoe – The Surrey Robocop.

Thumb Dance on BlackBerry PlayBook
Viral ad for Carphone Warehouse & Blackberry
We say:
We don’t want to give too much away on this one as that would spoil the fun.
Rich’s amazing thumb dance routine would sure be welcome in the BigHappyVideo editorial room though. Can you imagine how much video copy he’d be able to push out on his Blackberry if that were so?
They say:
“Rich from The Carphone Warehouse goes through the gesture controls on the new BlackBerry PlayBook.”
Solo Tourism – Empty London
You might think that this eerie representation of London’s riverside landmarks shows the capital the day after we were all wiped out by some beansprout-based e-coli disease.
Fret not dear friends, it’s nothing more than a software heavy time-lapse edit by budding filmmaker Jon Fee for his end of year video.
Still, imagine how lovely commuting would be in Jon’s London…
