Solo Tourism – Empty London
You might think that this eerie representation of London’s riverside landmarks shows the capital the day after we were all wiped out by some beansprout-based e-coli disease.
Fret not dear friends, it’s nothing more than a software heavy time-lapse edit by budding filmmaker Jon Fee for his end of year video.
Still, imagine how lovely commuting would be in Jon’s London…

Dolphin Stampede
I’m lucky enough to have seen dolphins close up several times, chasing the boat we’re in like dear old friends.
But here is something really special – a full-on dolphin stampede.

Time Travelling Charlie Chaplin Extra
There’s a lot of buzz in videoland about this particular YouTube post supposedly showing an extra in the Charlie Chaplin film The Circus brandishing a mobile cell phone.

Eton Wall Game (1921)
Here’s an example of posh people acting like prats.
It’s culled from the wonderful BFI Archive. Shot in 1921 for a contemporary newsreel, the film shows the annual Eton Wall Game, held on St Andrew’s day each year. Apparently ex-pupil George Orwell once took part and we assume Prime Minister David Cameron and his old school chum London Mayor Boris Johnson might have had a shove too.
Jolly japes had by all.
Condor Hang Gliding in the Andes
Viral Video for Mazda’s MX-5
We say:
We’ve always had a soft spot for the MX-5. It’s a fuss free Lotus Elan inspired roadster, with none of the pretensions of an over priced supercar. Probably more fun to drive too. One day…
They say:
The Mazda MX-5. Once driven, thrills are harder to find.
Condor Hang Gliding in the Andes, somersaulting from the nose of a 40 ton whale and racing your friends in a buffalo stampede are examples of the lengths MX-5 drivers have to go to find comparable thrills.
Once you’ve experienced the heart-racing excitement and wind-in-your-hair exhilaration of the agile Mazda MX-5 roadster you’ll understand.
