Protests in Iran – 18 September 2009
We’ve not seen much from Iran for the past month or so. Today (18 September 2009) though we’ve got these pictures in from a street demonstration in the Iranian capital, Tehran. Reports indicate Government forces have once again clashed with the protesters who are opposing the recent Iran Election results.

Hillary Clinton Explodes in Congo

Remember a demented Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver squaring up to the mirror and demanding “Are you talking to me?”
Well here we have US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton responding to questions from students in
Kinshasha, Congo yesterday. One of them, questioning through an interpreter, asks her what her husband, former President Bill Clinton’s take on a certain issue would be.
Hillary EXPLODES, on camera, with this bile-filled tirade:
“Wait you want me to tell you what my husband thinks? My husband is not secretary of state, I am.”
“If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channelling my husband.”
It’s truly epic stuff, but made all the more juicy by the subsequent revelation that the translator cocked up, he should have said what would current President Barrack Obama have thought on the subject.
Anyways around, it’s back to charm school for Hillary.

Silvio Berlusconi’s Red Carpet Insult to Angela Merkel

Fresh off the back of our Silvio Berlusconi Humps A Traffic Warden video getting a heads-up in The Guardian (ok the link to us is buried in the comments, section, but hey) we thought it’s time to beef up our Sexy Silvio Archive with another Berlusconi classic.
Here we have the “man’s man of international politics” at a NATO summit treating Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, to a touch of “treat them mean to keep them keen” delayed arrival. As ever the Italian Prime Minister is playing the big guy talking away on his mobile phone, while Merkel looks on at first confused, then seemingly amused, until she finally gives up waiting for the Latin lothario and walks away down the red carpet.

What with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in the news again this week following publication of the alleged telephone conversation with call girl Patrizia D’Addario we thought it was a fine time to dig this footage up from the Sexy Silvio Archive.
Here we have Silvio Berlusconi ‘dry-humping’ a traffic warden who is busy ticketing a car. She is not best pleased to say the least.

Iran Protests Continue

Fresh footage from the Iranian capital Tehran showing that protests are continuing against the result of the recent Iran Election despite the severe clampdown by the state security system.
According to the protestor who posted these images, this demonstration took place yesterday (Thursday 9 July 2009) on the intersection of Valiasr & Taleghani in Tehran.
Half way through the footage, tear gas is seen being deployed by the police and the protestors run for cover.

Portugal Minister resigns after making ‘Cuckold’ gesture to opponent
In difficult times, wouldn’t it be nice if our politicians could add a little spice to our lives? Well the politcos in Portugal have heeded our call and given a taste of hand-gesture-politics at its best. Watch the video above (in Portuguese) and look out for the horny insult bestowed upon an avowed opponent. Great stuff.
Background:
Portuguese Economy Minister Manuel Pinho has left office after making a lewd hand gesture during a heated parliamentary debate. Following an explosive rant the puffed up Pinho used his hands in a horn shaped movement above his head – a gesture that is commonly used to mean a cuckold to the leader of the communist parliamentary group, Bernandino Soares.
Prime Minister Jose Socrates said: ‘Nothing justifies this gesture and it’s not admissable. This should not have happened. The minister is conscious of how this affects the image of the government. So during the debate he communicated his desire to resign and I accepted it.’
